Course Information

Computer science and technology is the study of computer theory, method, technique and its engineering application. The main research content are the theories, models, methods and techniques about structure of computer, information acquisition, representation, storage, processing, transmission and application technology, and so on. The subject has a computer application technology, computer software and theory, and computer system architecture, three secondary disciplines master's degree. Main research directions include intelligent computing theory and applications, image processing and pattern recognition, wireless sensor networks and applications, computer vision, database and information processing technology, embedded technology and applications, distributed and parallel processing, network and information security, digital manufacturing and digital equipment, and so on. The main courses are: computing theory, matrix theory, object-oriented methods, stochastic processes, combinatorial mathematics, mathematical statistics, DSP technology and applications, FPGA technology and applications, distributed systems, advanced software engineering, advanced database technology, advanced network technology, advanced computer architecture, computer vision, computer graphics, evolutionary computation theory and application of pattern recognition, embedded systems, artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, digital image processing, algorithm design and analysis, image analysis and understanding, wireless sensor networks, physical networking technology, information security technology, and so on.

Entry equirements

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

2. Education background and age limit:

    Applicants for undergraduate program must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 22.

    Applicants for master’s degree program must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 30.

3.Obey the relevant laws of the PRC and meet the admission requirements of the host universities.

4. Applicants must have a good academic record and merits.

>Step 1

Submit Application Documents: prepare necessary documents and upload in CISS. 

>Step 2

Pay Application Fee: Application Fee can be paid online or ask your customer service executive for guidance.

>Step 3

Qualification Verification: CISS customer service executive will contact you immediately when receive the files, please pay attention to your e-mail or your CISS.

>Step 4

Admission Letter: the admission letter will be normally sent out within 10 working days after all documents are prepared well.

JW202 Form: usually come out within one month after students get admitted.

>Step 5

Visa Application:

> For those who applied for long term study (more than 6 months), students can apply for X visa with the admission letter and JW202 form.

> For those who applied for short term study (less than 6 months), students are suggested to apply for L visa with the admission letter.
