Notice for 2018 Summer Vacation

1. Summer Vacation will start on July 2nd and last until August31st. The class will begin on September 3rd and all international students shall come back to the university before September 2nd and the university authorities will check the return. Those who will not be back punctually shall not get registered except those who go through the formal procedures and ask for leave.

2. During the vacation you can choose to stay at the university or travel in China or go back to your home country. If you will be away from the university, you shall come to the Office and fill in the Leave Form; otherwise you are considered against the university regulations.

3. You are strongly required to pay much attention to your personal safety and take care of yourselves and your own belongings whether you are at the university or away from the university. While you stay at the university, you are required not to swim in any river or lake inside or outside the university.   

4. During summer vacation, any actions such as bullying, fighting, taking illegal drugs, stealing, riding motorbikes,etc. against the Chinese law and the university regulations are also absolutely banned.

5. If you have still owed the university money, you can take advantage of the summer vacation to collect money and clear all the fees at the beginning of the next semester.  Otherwise if your visa is going to expire, the university will not help extend your visa and you should be responsible for the bad consequences caused by illegally staying in China

6. Those who fail to take the exam due to failure in the final exams of some subjects should take vacation time to review and prepare for the exam. Within September we will arrange all the make-up exams.

7. During the summer holiday, if you need assistance or if something emergent happened to you, you should dial one of the following telephones for help. And our Office staff’s telephones are available for 24 hours every day.

8. The graduate candidates will start the internship very soon after the new semester begins.Those who still owe the university money, the university will not arrange internships and thesis defending for them.
