Notice for 2016 Winter Vacation

1.     Winter vacation will start on January 23rd and end on February26th . The university will begin class on February 29th.During the vacation the students can choose to travel back home or go on tour or stay at the university. Whatever you choose, you should get registered or fill a form in the Office .For those who will be away from the university, they must go back to the university before the end of vacation. Those who will not be back for the class on time without informing the university will be considered to severely violate the regulations.

2.     You are strongly advised to raise your awareness of your personal safety issues especially your traffic safety and take care of your own belongings whether you are at the school or traveling to different places for your vacation. While you stay in the university, you are not allowed to take any person who is not an international student of our university to reside in the dormitory.

3.     All the international students except the freshmen who have already paid all the fees to the university should take advantage of the winter vacation period to collect money from the parents for the new academic year. All the fees should be paid before the first two or three weeks of the new semester. The money should be deposited into the University ICBC’s account. The No. is 1502209009026408036. Those who already owed the university money should be cleared at the same time.

4.     Those who failed in the final exams of some subjects should take vacation time to review and prepare for the makeup exam. Make-up exams will be arranged in the first month of the new semester. Students who still owe the university tuition fees are not permitted to take exams or make-up exams. From the next semester, those who failed the exams of more than three subjects will not go up to the next grade to study and have to stay the same grade to continue their study.

5.     During the winter vacation, wherever you are you must abide by the laws and regulations, especially honor what you should do and what you should not do motioned above, otherwise you will lose the hope to get scholarship or result in punishment imposed upon you.

6.     For Chinese Lunar New Year celebration, the University will organize Spring Festival celebrating activities. Every international student of the University is welcomed to attend. Please read the Notice in the Bulletin Board for the details.
